Modalities & Expertise

Somatic Work

Somatic therapy is a body-centered approach to healing that explores the connection between the mind and body. It integrates psychotherapy with physical and experiential practices to support deeper, more holistic healing.

Mind-body exercises and other physical techniques can help release stored tension and unresolved trauma that may be impacting emotional and physical well-being. By working with the body, clients are often able to access patterns and responses that traditional talk therapy alone may not fully reach.

Julie incorporates somatic practices such as rhythmic movement, yoga-based movement, singing bowls, drumming, breathwork, and relational connection into her work with clients. These modalities can help regulate the nervous system, lower overall intensity, and support the processing of trauma so clients can move forward with greater ease, clarity, and resilience.

Hypnosis & Meditation

Hypnosis and meditation are powerful transformational practices that can help shift patterns of thought, calm the nervous system, and support lasting change. Both work by guiding the mind into a more relaxed and receptive state, creating space for deeper healing, greater self-awareness, and intentional growth.

Julie uses hypnosis to help clients reframe limiting beliefs, support emotional healing, and create new patterns that align with greater peace, confidence, and well-being. Meditation is incorporated as a way to regulate the autonomic nervous system, cultivate presence, and help clients focus more intentionally on what they want to create in their lives.

Energy Healing

Energy healing is a holistic approach that works with the connection between the mind, emotions, memories, and the body. It is based on the understanding that unresolved experiences and limiting patterns can become held within the nervous system and influence overall well-being.

By gently supporting the release and shift of these patterns, energy healing can help restore balance within the mind, body, and spirit. This process can create space for greater clarity, emotional ease, and a deeper sense of alignment.

Julie incorporates energy healing into meditation and hypnosis sessions, or offers it as a standalone modality, to support clients in moving forward with greater awareness, intention, and progress toward their goals.

Equine & Animal-Assisted Therapy

Animals can play a powerful role in the healing process through connection and support of the nervous system. Their presence offers comfort, consistency, and a sense of mutual connection that can support both emotional and physical well-being.

Working with horses, in particular, creates opportunities to develop greater awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation. These interactions invite clients to slow down, become more present, and engage more deeply with both themselves and others.

Because horses are biologically wired for connection within the herd, they are highly attuned to their environment and to the energy of those around them. When they feel safe, they naturally seek connection—offering clients a unique opportunity to explore their own emotional state, shift patterns, and practice regulation in real time.
